  4. Installation notes:

  6. The very first thing you must do is creating the  file: 
  7.     make.local          
  8. This file can be copied from the file make.$SYS where $SYS is one of
  9. SUN, AViiON, HPUX, DEC_MIPS.
  10. whereafter you must addapt path names to fit in your local situation.
  11. If your system is not in this list you have to choose one 
  12. and addapt it to your local system.
  13.  
  14. In addition there are two files that may have to be adapted. These are:
  15.     make.arlib      
  16.     make.lintlib
  17.  
  18. Furthermore the top directory and subdirectory 'bin' of the top
  19. directory must be included in your path.
